All things about JCC
I have finished grading the midterms. The normalization was 11 pts. (the highest unadjusted score was 89, followed by an 87). This gave a class average of 67%. The grades will be posted later after I finish the formal labs.
On a side note, I hope those of you bugging me for stuff over the break are studying as hard as you are emailing me… we do have a quiz coming up the day we get back.
Here are the current grades in BIO220. This includes the midterm and lab grade.
They are NOT done and will not be done by class today. I will in all likelihood get them completed by Wednesday.
I’m still working on the Midterm, but have finished the last quiz. Patience, I am working on the Midterms… there is a lot to grade

Attached is the evaluation rubric for the presentation. I expect that every presentation will include some multimedia (be it PowerPoint or overheads) and will run between 8-10 minutes.
Attached is a PDF of the WS 2010 Presentation Topic Assignments. The list of organisms were assigned by random number generator and represent your topic for presentation.
The title pretty much says it all. JCC is open so we have class and the quiz as scheduled today. Please remember that the midterm is on Wednesday.
Here are the new grade sheets, incorporating the last quiz. The class average was a 30/50.
The new grades are calculated for BIO220. Surprisingly the class did worse, as an average, on this test than the last one. Maybe you should rethink when you say the test was “too easy.”
